Maria Clotilde Notarbartolo

Born in 1974, with a degree in Political Science and a PhD in Contemporary History, she is currently a research fellow at the School of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the University of Catania (Di3A) within the Sea Marvel project. She contributes to the project with methodologies for the acilitation of participatory processes.

Born in Catania in ’74, she graduated in Political Science and obtained a PhD in Contemporary History dealing with Italian foreign policy at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Over time, she became an expert in facilitating economic and social processes, studying and applying different methodologies to very different contexts. She is the representative of the Italian Hub of EIT Food, a European organisation aimed at supporting innovation in the agri-food sector in European territories.
She is currently a research fellow at the School of Agriculture, Food and Environment of the University of Catania (Di3A). within the Sea Marvel project. Specifically, she deals with participatory activities related to the drafting of guidelines for the efficiency of MPA management, contributing to the project objectives with methodologies for the facilitation of participatory processes and stakeholder involvement.
